Biography

Martin is Associate Dean (Education) in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. He is also Subject Leader for the Digital Creative Technologies field in the Department of Computer Science. He was previously Associate Director of the Department of Computer Science and spent over a decade as Head of Enterprise for the Department overseeing commercial activities, contract research and intellectual property development.
He has served as external examiner for a range of Computing programmes within the UK and abroad at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and is currently external examiner at Sheffield Hallam University and Bournemouth University.
He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
