Samuel Richardson


Sam Richardson is a part-time PhD student, his PhD is focused on supporting sports coaches and teachers with their Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) practice by using a multidisciplinary and pedagogical cases approach to develop a TGfU resource for sport practitioners. Sam’s other research interests include coach education and sport pedagogy. Alongside his PhD research, Sam is working towards becoming an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and also works as a youth sports coach.
