Dr Linus Girdland Flink

School of Biological and Environmental Sciences

I am a palaeogeneticist specialising in extracting and analysing DNA from ancient bones, teeth, soils and sediments.

My primary research interests are animal domestication and the Neolithic transition in West Eurasia (including human migration and its role in shaping the cultural landscape of prehistoric Europe).
