Dr Lochran Traill

School of Biological and Environmental Sciences

Senior Lecturer in Conservation Biology

I am a Zimbabwean conservation scientist, based in the UK. I have an interest in tropical conservation science and ecology, with a focus on Africa - and past experience in tropical North Australia.

I am a former Marie Curie Fellow (2011-13) and Carnegie Fellow (2013-15), and I am a 'Rated Scientist' (C-Rated) through the South African National Research Foundation (NRF). At present I have funding through the South African NRF, and the Global Challenges Research Fund. I also have two PhD students.

I am happy to discuss possible MPhil/PhD projects.
