Marks PhD studies will explore cellular and molecular mechanisms behind skeletal muscle adaptation in response to hypertrophy, atrophy and regeneration using rodent models.
Marks particular interests include myonuclei and the regulation of muscle growth and muscle loss through mechanical forces transfer
