Edward Harcourt is Pro-Vice-Chancellor (External Relations) and is a member of the Senior Management Team and the Academic Board at LJMU. He took his PhD in History from Vanderbilt University in the United States and joined the University of Warwick in 2003 as an Assistant Registrar. He later became Director of International Relations at the University of Birmingham.
He took up his position at LJMU in June 2013 and has a broad portfolio covering civic and public engagement, international relations, marketing and communications, business and employer engagement, and alumni relations & development.
