As part of our support package to LJMU students and graduates, the Centre has a dedicated business advisor. Our advisor has a wealth of business knowledge, and can help you navigate the start-up journey. Our advisor can also signpost you to specialist support in the local area. Whatever your business idea, we are here to help you think critically and evaluate the possibilities.

David Gibson OBE

Head of Entrepreneurship Education

David has had an impressive career and can offer students and alumni first-rate start-up advice. Originally an accountant and a small business owner, David moved into enterprise education at Queens University Belfast. Here, David’s work helped the University to win UK Entrepreneurial University of the Year (Times Higher Awards). Since then, David has won fifteen awards, two further Times Higher Awards and, in 2012, David was awarded the first OBE for enterprise education.
