Events for start-ups: Start-Up Wednesdays
Attend Start-Up Wednesday sessions to turn your idea into a reality
Start-Up Wednesdays are a series of afternoon events that equip you with key business skills, whether that’s marketing, accounting or learning how to develop a business plan. After each session, you will also be given the chance to speak to one of our knowledgeable business advisers on a one-to-one basis.
Start-Up Wednesdays are designed as a five-part programme. Although you might benefit from attending all sessions, we know that’s not always possible. That’s why the sessions are on a pick-and-mix basis. This means you can attend any one of our Start-Up Wednesday events, even if you haven’t been to any of the other sessions.
Book your place
Start-Up Wednesdays are very popular, so please book your place.

Can I attend Start-Up Wednesdays?
Start-Up Wednesdays are intended for current Liverpool John Moores University students or alumni who have graduated within the last five years. The seminars will be most helpful for students or alumni who have an idea for their business, but haven’t yet developed that idea.
However, if you don’t have an idea yet, or you’ve already begun work on your business project, we still recommend you attend the sessions.
If you’re unsure whether you should attend, please get in contact with us - we’d be happy to help.
