Information for Start-up Hub

How can you work with us?

Our award-winning Start-up Hub is a key part of the Student Futures. Our role is to support students and recent graduates (up to five years after graduating) who want to develop new business start-ups and become self employed.

We work within the programme curriculum at the invitation of Heads of schools, Subject Leaders and Careers Advisors.

We offer a range of hands-on, theory into practice sessions related to specific courses and module learning outcomes and the group you are teaching. Sessions run from one hour upwards.

Our team has a wealth of expertise in helping to bring enterprise alive within the classroom, in more informal settings on or off-campus.

Topics include:

  • Freelancing and side hustles
  • Your personal and career vision
  • Business Model Canvas
  • Your values and why these matter
  • Knowing what an idea is and how to test it
  • Boosting confidence to pitch and present
  • Developing relevant and sustainable networks
  • Knowing your leadership styles and team working

If you would like to request a session, please download and complete the training request form and return to us.
