Sherif

Making the journey to Liverpool expanded Sherif’s circle of friends and opened him up to experiences he would never have encountered had he stayed in his home province.

“I can honestly say I really enjoyed my time at LJMU and those were the best years of my life. I made lifelong friends. I loved the city and I became a Liverpool FC supporter.

I would highly recommend LJMU for the MPharm programme as it benefited me greatly in achieving my career goals.”

Since leaving LJMU, Sherif has gone on to become Pharmacy Manager at McArhur Drugs in Ontario. In comparison to other professions he could have chosen, he particularly enjoys the interactions he now has with patients in his home town of Fenelon Falls. Becoming the main point of contact for them when dispensing medication, Sherif is able to follow their patient journey long after diagnosis. This has been one of the driving forces behind his decision to become a pharmacist and, building up this trust and report with his patients, is one of the most rewarding aspects of his job.

“After graduating I worked as a hospital pharmacist at Peterborough regional health centre (PRHC). Now, I am the Pharmacy Manager at Macarthur Drug Store in Fenelon Falls, Ontario. I felt welcome here from day one…our patients are excellent.”
