Liverpool School of Art and Design offers a range of undergraduate arts programmes, covering RIBA endorsed training in Architecture, vocational training in the art of Graphic Design and Illustration, Fashion, development of artists in contemporary Fine Art practice and the next generation of art historians and curators through the History of Art and Museum Studies degree.
Liverpool School of Art and Design is jam-packed with the latest technology and art making equipment, enabling our students to explore their craft, develop key skills and transform in to confident, creative and collaborative practitioners. Working in the RIBA award-winning John Lennon Art and Design Building will give you access to the Digital Fabrication Lab (FabLab), print facilities, Mac Suites, exhibition spaces, studios, pattern cutting facilities and a well-stocked café.
The School of Humanities and Social Sciences at LJMU a research-led, innovative and distinct school. Our team of lecturers and researchers are leading educators within five subject areas – English and Cultural History, Media, History, Culture and Communication and Criminology and Sociology (Social Work and Social Policy).
The John Foster Building is steeped in local history and a great environment for learning, with dedicated careers service, the students’ union, a large IT suite and the Aldham Robarts Library.
