Find your new home
Located in leafy Aigburth, the IM Marsh Campus is about four miles from the centre of Liverpool and is home to a small number of courses for academic year 2020/21 only.
The vast majority of IM Marsh students live in the city centre and are therefore able to take advantage of the same modern facilities as other students. It is very easy to travel between the campus and the city-centre. New Level 3 and Level 4 students who live in any city-centre Hall will receive help towards travel costs in their first year at LJMU. In academic year 2020/21 this will take the form of a free term-time Arriva bus pass for all eligible students.
If you’re a new undergraduate student
All new undergraduate students need to select accommodation from the wide range of city-centre options. Apollo Court, The Arch, Grenville Street, St. Luke’s View and St Andrew's Gardens are popular with new IM Marsh students because of their proximity to the main bus route (number 82) between the city-centre and the campus.
If you’re a new postgraduate student
New postgraduate students based at IM Marsh are advised to book a bedroom in St Andrew's Gardens, Marybone 1, Atlantic Point or Albert Court. Bedrooms at Albert Court and Atlantic Point feature private en-suite bathrooms and are good value at £127 and £112 per week respectively. Parking is available at both sites at an additional cost. Another option is to take a studio at The Arch, Grand Central or Apollo Court.
Students who will be undertaking a PGDE course at LJMU in 2020/21 will need access to their accommodation from Saturday, 29 August because these courses start teaching on Tuesday, 1 September.
Rooms will be available from this date within dedicated flats at Marybone 1 and Atlantic Point only.
