Gaming, law, cheerleading, paranormal investigation – no matter what your passion we're sure one of Liverpool SU's societies will cater to your particular pastime.
What clubs and societies can I get involved in?
There is a huge range of academic, social, charitable, political and cultural clubs and societies you can join. Take a look at the JMSU website for a complete list of current clubs and societies at LJMU. If you can't find one that meets your interests, you can set up your own society or club – you'll be surprised how many others share your enthusiasm.
Why should I join a club or society?
Joining a club or society enriches your university experience. You’ll meet like-minded people, nurture your interests, learn new skills and make new friends. Taking part in extracurricular activities could also help you figure out what you’d like to do when you graduate.
Being an active club or society member will make you more employable – not only will it bolster your CV, but it can also equip you with the skills employers are looking for, such as leadership, negotiation and the ability to use your initiative. Plus it's a conversation diversion you'll be thankful for during a job interview.
