Support on campus
All of our support services are available for you online, via phone and where possible, by appointment to see someone face-to-face. This is all detailed on our website and further details will be provided so you know exactly where to go to if you need help, guidance, advice and support.
Our Careers Service is operating a successful online service and advisors are available for consultation either online, by phone or through scheduled face-to-face sessions.
Our student job agency, Unitemps, has a range of paid work opportunities specifically for LJMU students and the team will help you find appropriate work.
Libraries and IT
The libraries have been adapted to allow safe use of the building and to observe social distancing. This naturally reduces the number of students that can be in the building at any one time and in the first instance, library time will be scheduled so that you can make the most of your time in the space.
Library spaces will be cleaned regularly and sanitisers will be available throughout the buildings.
We are currently working through the process for students to access LJMU laptops safely and to ensure that we are able to provide students with appropriate IT.
UK/EU student finance payments will be made on time and directly to students, provided you have fully completed registration in advance of the start of term.
