Animal Behaviour

Studying a wide range of themes within behavioural biology

We are biological researchers who explore the evolution, diversity and mechanisms of animal behaviour.

We study a wide range of species in the field and the laboratory and use diverse methods to do so, including experimental and computational approaches, behavioural observation, genetics/genomics and comparative physiology.

Staff research and expertise includes behavioural ecology, animal welfare, conservation, evolutionary biology, animal cognition, behavioural neuroscience and epigenetics.
