James Place Year 2 SROI report
This report provides a Social Return on Investment Analysis for James’ Place Liverpool. James’ Place is a service that aims to stop men dying by suicide by providing support for men facing a suicidal crisis. The analysis focuses specifically on the outcomes and investment for April 2019 to March 2020 (Year 2 of service delivery). This report forms part of a wider evaluation that has reported on Year 1 and Year 2 outcomes (Saini, Chopra, Hanlon, Boland & O’Donoghue, 2021; Saini, Chopra, Hanlon, Harrison & Timpson, 2020). This report is intended to calculate only the financial value of an intervention such as James’ Place. It does not attempt to take into account the terrible personal and emotional impact of suicide on the family and friends of those bereaved by suicide, and we would like to acknowledge that here.
