What we do at q:LJMU

q:LJMU was established to provide an inter-disciplinary space for LJMU staff and PhD students interested in research on LGBT+ issues to come together for research activities, discussion and collaboration.

Our aim is to help share, promote and disseminate current LGBT+ related research at LJMU. This could be through workshops, social media and events aimed at supporting the development of LGBT+ related research projects via inter-disciplinary research activities (for example: reading groups, writing workshops, work-in-progress events.) We also work to connect academics with the relevant research interests in this field too.

Furthermore, we are here to act as a focal point for cross-cutting LGBT+ related research across the university to identify and facilitate opportunities for future collaborations, projects, funding applications and publications.

You can get in touch with us today for more information or to discuss a possible collaboration.
