A better deal for renters
Are you a tenant?
Would you like to take part in our study?
The aim of this study is to gain an understanding of tenants’ experiences and attitudes to how the private rented sector in England is regulated and how the sector could be improved to create a fairer rental market.
The government has plans for major reform of the private rented sector in England, for example, improving security for tenants and ending no-fault evictions. We are inviting tenants to share their views on current tenancy regulation and the proposed reforms.
We are looking for participants who meet the following criteria:
- Aged 18+
- Living in rented accommodation in England
- Rent from a private landlord (this does not include halls or residence, university provided accommodation, social housing)
Participation will involve completion of an anonymous online survey which should take no more than around 10-15 minutes to complete.
Full details of the research are included in the participant information sheet.
