  • Ada Pressman graduated with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering in 1950 from Ohio State University.
  • She is recognized through her breakthroughs in improving the precision and reliability of sensors and controls.
  • Pressman has also been honoured as one of the United States' outstanding experts in power plant controls, process instrumentation, working on fossil fired and nuclear power plants.
  • Recognized for significantly improving the safety for both coal-fired and nuclear plants, Pressman's work has impacted both workers and nearby residents.
  • She received the Society of Women Engineers’ achievement award in 1976 due to her immense contribution in the field of power control systems engineering.
