Developing Future Leaders for Higher Education
Aurora is delivered by Advance HE, aimed at enabling more women to develop the leadership side of their careers and so address the under-representation of women leaders in the sector. The Aurora programme is run in partnership with universities based on workshop events, mentoring, action learning sets and self-directed learning. An opportunity to enable the sharing of best practice, insights, and experiences.
Most leadership development programmes are aimed at leaders already in the role, however, Aurora is also suitable for women at early or mid-point in their career. Aurora is to designed to enable a wide range of women, in academic, professional and research roles, to engage with leadership development to support their potential career progression. It aims to enable women to think of themselves as future leaders and to better understand leadership and whether they want to develop their career in this direction.
