PhD student James Morehen is passionate about sport and is now using his applied research to further his career working with professional athletes. In addition to running his own business, James currently works as Head of Sports Nutrition at a professional rugby club. Prior to starting his PhD, James completed a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science and MSc in Sport and Exercise Physiology in LJMU’s world-leading School of Sport and Exercise Science.
Graduating with a PhD will allow me to progress further up the career ladder, as I will be a specialist in my chosen research area of rugby and nutrition. This knowledge will allow me to go worldwide in search of career prospects.
