Advocating for LJMU
We currently have over 80 fully-trained and DBS-checked Student Advocates working for the Outreach Team and helping promote the University to prospective students
All our Advocates are current LJMU students who support the activities the Outreach Team deliver in schools and colleges, including delivering Student Life Talks in which their personal experiences of living in Liverpool and studying at LJMU prove to be effective ways to engage Year 12 and 13 pupils.
Advocates are also an invaluable part of activity at the University, including at Open Days, enthusing prospective students about our courses and the benefits of progressing to higher education in general.
If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact our team – we’d be happy to help.
The recruitment of student advocates for 2017/18 is currently closed. To register an interest in the position and be informed when we are next recruiting contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
I really enjoyed the talk from the current student. His presentation was brilliant and I found it comforting to know that there is so much help and support at LJMU as soon as you arrive.
