12years of experience working with schools and colleges across Northern Ireland
What we do
The Outreach Team delivers a wide range of presentations and workshops in schools and colleges to Year 12 and 13 pupils including:
- Introduction to higher education
- How to write a personal statement
- Finance – student funding, fees and loan repayment
- Money, money, money – an interactive look at money management
- Student life talks (delivered by current LJMU Student Advocates)
Both staff and pupils found the sessions to be extremely engaging, informative and relevant. I would wholeheartedly recommend these workshops as a way of providing pupils with important information and developing the skills they will need for university life
