Monday 9 February 2026: Process launches with applications invited by internal announcement
To help with the application process, a series of online briefing sessions have been scheduled for members of staff interested in applying. The sessions will cover the application process, eligibility and key considerations when applying.
Tuesday 24 February 2026: 10am till 11am briefing session for staff in Faculty of Society and Culture
Wednesday 25 February 2026: 11am till 12pm briefing session for staff in Faculty of Health, Innovation, Technology and Science
Tuesday 17 March 2026:
- 10am till 11 am briefing session for staff in Faculty of Health, Innovation, Technology and Science
- 2pm till 3 pm briefing session for staff in Faculty of Society and Culture
Friday 8 May 2026: Closing date for applications, deadline for submission is 8 May 2026 at 11.59pm
May/June 2026: School Assessment Panels meet
May/June 2026: Faculty Assessment Panels meet
July/August 2026: University Promotions Panel meets
1 August 2026: Effective date of promotion
