A collection relating to Liverpool art events

Flyers, brochures and press articles

From 2004 the Art in Liverpool project began collecting material from galleries and art related events across Merseyside. A website was also created to promote arts in Liverpool. In 2011, Art in Liverpool became part of Vale, who are responsible for Liverpool Biennial. 

The archive consists of flyers, brochures and press articles from cultural organisations including FACT and the Bluecoat, along with material relating to Liverpool Capital of Culture in 2008. This material has been used to support teaching and learning in the Liverpool School of Art and Design. 

The collection has not yet been fully catalogued, but a partial box list and more information can be provided by the LJMU Archivist.
