Management Knowledge Transfer Partnerships

Expand management capability and transform business performance

Innovate UK has introduced a new Management KTP programme for SMEs. Management Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (MKTP's) create a dynamic 3-way partnership in a similar way to KTP's, with the focus on delivering transformational productivity improvement, increasing effectiveness through better management practices, tailored in a bespoke manner to address individual company needs.

Liverpool Business School has developed a unique and wide-ranging framework approach to MKTPs, with a range of subject specialists linking up to deliver a range of work packages over the course of the project. These can range from market positioning, dealing with scale-up issues, operationalising the vision, and embedding knowledge to enable sustainable growth and lasting change.

Companies benefit from an MKTP if it is:

  • A growth-oriented SME, eager to build and execute your ambitious management strategy by introducing better management practices.
  • A business seeking significant productivity gains and recognising that good management and leadership can help deliver this.
  • An organisation looking to up-skill your staff and make step-change improvements in productivity by deploying industry-leading practices and innovation processes.
