Grants and Projects (GaP) Training

You must have completed GaP training before being set up as a user on the live system. Training is undertaken independently online in our training system and takes around an hour to complete.

Following successful completion we will request that your user account is created.
This can take up to 2 days, so please plan this in if you have a deadline for an application.

Undertake GaP Training 

To begin your GaP training please email gap@ljmu.ac.uk and you will be issued with:

  • a username
  • a link to the Training System - Access via LJMU laptop or using VPN line
  • written guides to 'Setting up a Project' and 'Creating Costings'

Please put aside approximately one hour to watch the films and carry out the exercises below.

Finally, email gap@ljmu.ac.uk with your GaP number and any questions that you may have. Once we have checked your project and costing and answered any questions we will set you up in the live system and email you when this is available, with links to all the available support materials.
