Aprille Joy Ericsson

Aprille Joy Ericsson received her masters in Mechanical Engineering at Howard University, Washington DC.
She became the first African American female to graduate with a PhD at Howard, in Mechanical Engineering.
She serves at the Program Manager at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), securing a second PhD, in engineering from GSFC.
“Generally, I would say I am proof that one can achieve your career goals with meagre resources.”
Ericsson was warded the Washington Award for her devoted, unselfish and constant service in advancing human progress
