Applications for all full-time undergraduate programmes must be submitted via the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). Applicants can search courses on the UCAS website and find detailed information on how to apply to university.

LJMU places a great deal of importance on employability. A strong emphasis on active learning and practical training is embedded into our programmes. Not only will students have the opportunity to take part in work experience to further their professional development and prepare them for the world of work, but they will have extensive hands-on experience within our state-of-the-art facilities. As one of the safest cities in the UK, Liverpool attracts students from far and wide. In terms of culture, it boasts more museums and galleries than any other city outside of London and is host to a range of exciting events throughout the year. Our students get to experience the creative atmosphere of the city thanks to our partnerships with the big names in arts and culture; they can discover and appreciate music, art and theatre for free or at discounted prices. 

Liverpool is a great city for eating out with a huge range of restaurants and cafés to suit every taste and budget. With shopping, theatres, parks, attractions and activities all within easy reach, the city is a fantastic student destination, not to mention an excellent place to visit when you drop by to see your son or daughter.

No matter where you live in the UK, Liverpool is very easy to get to whether you're travelling by train, car or plane (it's just over two hours by train to London and only 30 minutes by plane from Northern Ireland).
