International welcome event will be held on 12 and 13 September 2024.
All full-time international students, including study abroad and exchange programmes students starting their studies in September 2024.
Attending the international welcome event is a great way to start your new life in Liverpool. The event will give you the chance to discover your new university environment and campuses, as well as connect with other international students also starting their LJMU journey.
Members of the international and student support teams will be on hand to offer guidance and support.

You can collect your ID card during the international welcome event 12 to 13 September 2024 at the Student Life Building, room UG.15.
Those who arrive after the 13 September can collect their ID card from Exchange Station from 16 September.

Most classes will start on 16 September but some courses may be different. You will be contacted if you are expected to start classes earlier than this.
An email invite and booking instructions will be sent to all eligible students during the summer.
Please note
All international students have to attend one of the induction sessions as these are mandatory.
In the case that you are not able, please email international@ljmu.ac.uk.
You will need to collect your BRP from the post office you added to your visa application.
Most LJMU students will collect their BRPs from Central Village Post Office, St John's Shopping Centre, 39 Dawson Way, Liverpool L1 1LJ.
