A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) is a government-funded scheme which enables an organisation to collaborate with a university and recent graduate on a strategic innovation project to improve competitiveness, productivity and performance.
By taking part in a KTP, you can use LJMU’s knowledge, technology and skills to develop new products, services or strategic change to promote growth within your organisation.
Organisations and businesses of any size, in any sector or UK region, are eligible to participate in a KTP.
Benefits for the business
- KTP projects are part-funded by Innovate UK.
- A high-calibre graduate (the “associate”) employed by LJMU will provide day-to-day delivery of the project in your organisation.
- An academic will supervise the project for half a day per week to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
