Carol Ewing Garber

• Garber completed her Masters and PhD in Exercise Physiology at the University of Connecticut. 
• Her research interests are novel delivery systems and the role of physical activity in the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases. 
• She is the author of over 70 scientific articles and book chapters and has won many awards for her work. 
• Garber has been the director of graduate program in Applied Exercise Physiology at Teachers College, University of Columbia. 
• She has acted as President of the American College of Sports Medicine.
