World Mental Health Day: Nature Walk
Join us for a nature walk through Festival Gardens and Otterspool!
Getting outside in nature is a great way to improve your mental and physical health so for World Mental Health Day, we will be taking you to a local green spot where you can enjoy some fresh air and a change of scene!
When? Friday 9th October, 1.30pm
Where? Meet at JMSU reception in Student Life Building
How will we get there? We will pay for your return train fare from Liverpool Central to St Michaels station. We'll then walk from there to Festival Gardens and Otterspool. If you live nearby, please let us know if you'd rather meet us there.
How long will it last? We’ll be walking for around an hour, with the time needed to get the train, we should be back within a couple of hours. If you'd like to stay longer in Festival Gardens, or visit Sefton Park or nearby cafes, you're welcome to stay and use your return train ticket at a later time in the day.
What do I need to bring? You won't need to bring anything unless you require water/ snacks.
What should I wear? Please dress for the weather! If its cold or wet, please wear plenty of layers/ waterproof jacket. If its sunny, please wear suncream if required.
