Cancer Café: Guest Speaker from Teenage Cancer Trust (plus Feb Fun Swap)

Have a cuppa, chat with the Cancer Support Ambassadors, and join our Feb Fun Swap in SLB 203, followed by a talk from Teenage Cancer Trust.

  • 2 to 2.15pm: Feb Fun Swap: It's been two months since Christmas. Bring that unwanted or forgotten gift, or something that has been sitting around the house, and swap it for something else on the exchange table. One person's rubbish is another person's ruby!
  • 2.15 to 3pm: Guest speaker, Kai Philpott: LJMU student in Sport and Exercise Sciences and in the Youth Advisory Group at the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Kai's talk will focus on the importance of the language we use when talking to someone with cancer, especially young adults. He will share his lived experiences too.
