LJMU awards Honorary Fellowships to Royal Court duo and former Dean of Liverpool Cathedral



Fellowships will be conferred to:

The Right Reverend Dr Pete Wilcox, recently installed Bishop of Sheffield and previously Dean of Liverpool Cathedral, for his outstanding contribution to inter-faith relations and community in Liverpool.

And jointly, to: Gillian Miller, Chief Executive of Liverpool’s Royal Court Theatre and Kevin Fearon, Artistic Director and Executive Producer of the Royal Court Theatre for their outstanding contribution to the regeneration of popular arts and culture in Liverpool.

Vice Chancellor of LJMU, Professor Nigel Weatherill DL commented:

“We value highly the contribution that the Fellowship plays in the life of the University.  Many give their time and talent in helping to enrich our student experience and allow our students a glimpse into their own professional lives.”
