Malaysia Graduation 2018

LJMU has established strong relationships in South East Asia, and a mark of this success is the annual graduation of students in Malaysia.

This year over 200 graduands and guests gathered at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, joined by the University’s partner institutions. They graduated in subjects ranging from Architecture and E-Business and Management to Quantity Surveying and Healthcare.

Professor Nigel Weatherill, Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive of Liverpool John Moores University commented:

“Liverpool may be over 10,000 kilometres away from Malaysia but the bonds between LJMU and this country are strong and enduring. Our partnerships with YPC international College, KPJ Healthcare University College and Imperia Institute of Technology are founded on a shared belief that higher education should be available to all, regardless of background. By working creatively together we are able to harness the transformative power of education, benefiting both our students and the wider communities we serve.”
