Academic Board - Call for Nominations

The Chair of the Academic Board, the Interim Vice-Chancellor & Chief Executive, Mark Power, would like to announce a Call for Nominations from eligible staff members within each of four categories.

The categories include:

• 5 vacancies for Directors from the Strategy Delivery Forum
• 4 vacancies for Professors on Professoriate
• 1 vacancy for Non-Teaching staff
• 6 vacancies for Academic staff

Membership is for an initial period of three years commencing on 26 June 2019, with the possibility of a further three year term.

Although elected by staff within your particular category, as a member of Academic Board you will not be representing any particular constituency and, as such, you will be expected to develop a broad knowledge of the University as a whole in line with the concept of ‘One University – a community working together to common student-centred objectives within a clear strategy’.

Those eligible to nominate themselves and to vote in each category will receive an email with full instructions on how to submit a nomination.
