Nursing wins UK Student Satisfaction award

Nursing students at LJMU are officially the “most satisfied” in the country – as voted for by our own students!

Our suite of Nursing and Allied Health courses last night picked up the award for the UK’s ‘Best Student Experience’ at the Student Nursing Times Awards 2020.

“We know our people go above and beyond so I’m really delighted this has been recognised nationally,” said Raphaela Kane, Dean of the Faculty of Health.

“To receive this accolade from our own students is real testament to the hard work and dedication of the team.”

Student said their lecturers and course tutors were “innovative and "responsive”.

The award follows LJMU’s victory two years ago in the 'Best pre registration provider of the year' category.

Two students Neve Ryles and Naima Horrocks were shortlisted in the ‘Nurse of the Year: Children’ category.
