LJMU Disability History Month Event (2020) - What Does An Accessible Future Look Like?

Thursday 3 December 2020 | 1 – 3pm | Virtual Event

Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) are proud to present an opportunity for all staff, students and members of the local/national community to attend our first ever, virtual Disability History Month Event.

This event should provide participants with the chance to; listen to real-life, lived experiences, reflect on disability-equality throughout history including present day, as well as the opportunity to gain tangible ideas to positively influence cultural change, in order to make our society more inclusive for everyone.

This year’s keynote speakers include Dr.Jaipreet Virdi (Historian, Educator & Author), Jane Cordell (LJMU Honorary Fellow & Director of Result CIC) and Hormoz Ahmadzadeh (Director of Result CIC & Personal Development Coach).
