January exams: training for invigilators

In anticipation of the January examination period, Academic Registry will be holding invigilation training sessions for LJMU staff throughout December.

All staff participating in the invigilation of examinations are strongly encouraged to attend a training session. The training will cover the main aspects of the role of invigilators including responsibilities prior to, during and following the completion of the examination.

This includes circumstances such as dealing with late candidates, attendance monitoring, fire alarms, candidates causing a disturbance and suspicions of academic misconduct.

For further information and to book on to a training session please visit the Academic Registry webpages.
