LJMU Climate Institute workshop

Staff are invited to attend a second workshop focussed on the proposed LJMU Climate Research Institute.

It follows the successful design sprint session held in December, in which colleagues with research interests in the area met to begin scoping out the planned institute.

The institute will aim to drive action to tackle climate change by using research and knowledge exchange activity to develop practical solutions to the challenges we face locally and globally.

You can read the draft scoping document, which will be discussed at the workshop.

If you have research interests in this area, you are invited to attend the workshop on Thursday 1 February, 10.30am-12.30pm in the Student Life Building (UG.15).

Book your place here.

The development of the institute is one of the commitments set out in the LJMU Climate Action Plan.
