Best student city in the UK

The agents from across the globe, including India, Japan, South Africa and the UAE, were invited to the university for three days to experience LJMU and its facilities. The visit also gave agents the chance to explore the city of Liverpool – recently ranked 7th best city in the world by Time Out magazine and the number one best student city in the UK by Student Crowd.

Agents and the university International team also discussed the application process and student experience for international students, plus how we can work together to make this even better.

Those visiting LJMU also got to see some of the ground-breaking work and research that LJMU leads on, including Face Lab, an interdisciplinary research group focusing on facial depiction and representation. Agents also met programme leaders from across the university plus the LJMU Student Futures team, who support students with careers advice and opportunities during and after their studies.

One of the agents, Shaima Javed, Education Zone, Bahrain, said: “I’ve had a great experience throughout the conference. The staff were very friendly and organised and had great communications with us throughout our stay. The LJMU campus is beautiful, I really like the infrastructure and the number of amenities for students.”
