People with a passion for higher education needed for LJMU governor roles



Liverpool John Moores University is seeking three new governors to bolster its board and to steer the university towards ongoing success.

Candidates with a strong background in either estates or property, higher education, or human resources are encouraged to register their interest in becoming a governor. A connection to the Liverpool City Region is also welcomed. Above all, candidates should exhibit a passion for higher education and resonate with the mission and strategy of LJMU.

LJMU is partnering with Nurole, the leading board-level search specialist, to find its new governors. The Board of Governors at LJMU

The Board of Governors is responsible for overseeing the activities of the university, including determining its future direction and educational character, and securing its solvency.

All persons appointed to the board are expected to be committed to the institution’s vision and values and to the success of the individuals and communities that LJMU serves.

The successful candidates will observe the highest standard of corporate governance in exercising their responsibilities.
