Black Student Leadership Academy launching in November

LJMU is launching something exciting — the Black Student Leadership Academy (BSLA), a brand-new programme created to celebrate identity, boost confidence, and build leadership skills for Black students.

Organised by Student Advice and Wellbeing with Student Futures, and supported by the D&I team, the programme starts on Wednesday 26 November 2025 and then resumes after the January assessment period.

It’s open to Black students at LJMU who want to grow, lead, and make an impact. Plus, everyone who completes the academy will receive a One4All voucher.

Spaces are limited — complete our online expression of interest form to take part.

Email Student Wellbeing if you’d like any further information.
