Students at the Heart Conference 2026 - submissions now open



This year’s Students at the Heart Conference will take place on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 June 2026. 

The 5th annual Students at the Heart Conference will be held in the John Lennon Art and Design Building and Student Life Building over two days. 

Submissions are now open 

Submissions are now open for staff, students, and partners, including professional services, academics, technical teams, and researchers to host sessions, lightning talks or poster displays for the 2026 conference.  

Could you and your team host a session? 

Examples of suitable topics for the Students at the Heart Conference include (but are not limited to):

  • promoting excellence in teaching and the student experience
  • enhancing student or staff wellbeing
  • creating inclusive and diverse environments in the workplace or for learning
  • encouraging collaboration
  • improving assessment and feedback 

Examples of best practice are welcome, or stories of successes and achievements, and submissions from non-student facing teams are encouraged.
