Globally recognised project management certification now available to LJMU students

LJMU is ensuring its project management students are highly employable and skilled to industry standard by offering an additional professional qualification as part of its MSc in Project Management.

Students on the postgraduate programme can now gain PRINCE2 Foundation certification, inclusive of their tuition fee. PRINCE2 – Projects IN Controlled Environments – is established as the world's most practised method for project management.

Securing this partnership was a complex process, but its successful implementation underscores the value of embedding industry certifications within academic programmes.

This opportunity provides a significant career advantage, equipping our students with practical skills that align with industry demands, ultimately enhancing their employability.

Dr Ali Rostami, LJMU School of Civil Engineering and Built Environment

LJMU is collaborating with PeopleCert Education on the initiative which offers eligible students a 12-month period to undertake the PRINCE2 Foundation exam, giving students flexibility in obtaining this globally recognised certification.
