'Enriching campus visit' for international partners

Supporting the university's international student population.

Agents from around the world visited Liverpool this month to enhance and support the university’s international student population.

Attendees from 15 countries around the world

International attendees from 15 countries, including Algeria, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Malaysia, Morocco, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Portugal, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Turkey, and the UK attended the university’s annual agent conference held on campus.

During the visit, the agents were welcomed onto LJMU campus to learn more about the university and the vibrant city of Liverpool.

The visit included guided campus tours, meetings with academic and professional services staff, an insightful focus group, and trips to iconic local landmarks such as Liverpool Football Club and the Royal Albert Dock. Agents also had the opportunity to explore LJMU’s faculties and discover the excellent facilities available to both home and international students.

Dr Julia Wang, Director of International Relations at LJMU said:

“It’s been great to have our international agents on campus this month, enjoying Liverpool in the sunshine. We appreciate the continued support from all our international partners and we look forward to continuing working together to inspire the next generation of students to study at Liverpool John Moores University and in the UK.”

"The LJMU Agent Conference was an enriching experience, showcasing the university’s leadership in its faculties. It offered valuable insights and strengthened our collaboration, reflecting LJMU’s commitment to supporting our international students.

I have a lot of experience in supporting students to study at UK universities and it would be very difficult to find a better value tertiary education and UK living experience.”
