Access and Participation Plan Data Dashboard now live

To support colleagues in their work to achieve our Access and Participation Plan (APP) targets, and wider work on reducing risks to equality of opportunity for students, we have developed a new APP Data Dashboard.

The dashboard allows staff to explore different student demographic information, including gaps in outcomes, across each stage of the student lifecycle. The new dashboard replaces the previous EDI/APP dashboard.

For more information, support or training on the dashboard please email Leanne Taher-Bates or email the Student Voice and Evaluation team.

What is an Access and Participation Plan?

In December 2024, the OfS approved our new Access and Participation Plan. The plan covers the academic years 2025-26 to 2028-29 and sets out 12 ambitious targets across the student lifecycle to reduce gaps in outcomes and tackle inequality in the student experience.

Access and participation plans set out how higher education providers will improve equality of opportunity for students from disadvantaged backgrounds to access, succeed in, and progress from higher education.

You can view LJMU’s Access and Participation Plan 2025 –2029 and its summary on the Access and Participation Plan LJMU webpages.

Both the plan and summary have further information and contact details should you wish to be involved further in APP work.
