A day of joy! Graduating with upGrad
Warm congratulations to our many graduates in Asia who have successfully completed course with our partner upGrad.
A ceremony in Bengaluru on May 26 celebrated the success of 2,483 learners, with over 250 attending in person and the rest joining virtually via upGrad’s YouTube channel.
It was a day full of joy, celebration, and new beginnings with smiles, laughter, teary eyes all round!
upGrad is one of Asia’s largest integrated training and lifelong learning institutions.
The graduating cohort included learners from the MSc in Data Science, MSc in Machine Learning & AI, MSc in Computer Science, and Masters of Business Administration (MBA), representing 14 countries, including India, the USA, UAE, Canada, Singapore, China, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Poland, Vietnam, the Netherlands, Iraq, Indonesia, and Mauritius.

The event was graced by dignitaries from upGrad and Liverpool John Moores University, including Professor Timothy Nichol, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Faculty of Society and Culture, LJMU; Mr Ronnie Screwvala, Co-Founder and Chairman of upGrad; and Mrs Jacqui Wright, Senior International Partnerships Manager.
Professor Nichol said: “I commend the spirit of perseverance demonstrated by all those who are graduating today in successfully managing professional commitments and family life along with the demands of graduate study.

The graduation ceremony also featured multiple learners sharing their remarkable success journeys, highlighting how upGrad’s international academic partnerships have enabled impactful career transitions, including role switches, new job offers, expanded responsibilities, and increased salaries hikes across tech, BFSI, consulting, and emerging tech sectors.
