Name our new helpdesk assistant

LJMU is developing a brand new online helpdesk – and you could win a fantastic prize for naming the AI assistant.

The new LJMU Assist portal will be introduced later this summer and will deliver a significantly enhanced user experience for staff and students.

As part of the new system, we will have an intuitive AI assistant who will be your initial point of contact when you are looking for support.

The assistant will be available 24/7, 365 days of the year and has comprehensive access to our knowledge articles and will be adept at helping you with basic inquiries. It can then seamlessly direct you to the most appropriate team if you need further assistance.

But what should we name our assistant?

We’re asking staff and students to put forward your suggestions and the winner selected by our panel will win a fantastic 128GB iPad.

All you need to do is email your name suggestion and your explanation to LJMUAICompetition@ljmu.ac.uk from your LJMU account.

The deadline to enter is Thursday 3 July.
